The seed for this project was planted from the moment I washed my first barrel. I fell in love with wine through observing how microclimates affect both the vines and the resulting wine.

Oryx was started with a single barrel of Chardonnay, quietly aged for 20 months. In the following years, Oryx will include forward thinking varieties that can adapt to Oregon’s changing climate.
